Dear mom and dad ,
my pen pal tom and l visited the grand canyon last week. it was grea!
the grand canyon is in the state of Arizona . over millions of years, the colorado river cut throught the rock and formed the canyon. it is very beautiful .
we started our hike on the south Rim. we hiked to the bottom of the canyon to be a pleace called phanyom Ranch. we stayed there there overnight. the next day, we rode mules to the top of the canyon. my mule was slow, but l was happy that l didn't have to hike all the way to the top.
l saw a beautiful sunset while l was in the canyon. the sky was yellow, orange, and red. l took pictures, so l will show you when l get home.
l bought some present at the visitor' s cente. l bought a braceled and a book. l'll see you next .
